| Note: A lighter shaft helps you generate greater clubhead speed that translates to
greater distance. However; it also results in a little bit of lesser
control. If you have a smooth swing, a lighter shaft will help you.
Otherwise, you'll be better off with a relatively heavier shaft.
The default shaft of Acculite 95 is light to begin with - a good 25 to
30 grams lighter than conventional steel shafts. You can go with even
lighter shafts - just make sure that it suits you. You may also order a
couple of clubs fitted with different shafts and see which one suits you
best. |
