PCMCIA CD-ROM Enclosure
External Portable case with PCMCIA card and cable that connects to the PCMCIA port of your laptop

Note:
Does not include the drive. It's only a case with cable and PCMCIA card.
You can install your own CD-ROM / CDRW drive like the Toshiba XM-1902B or similar in this case.
Prime uses:
- If your laptop does not have a CD-ROM Drive, you can use it for loading software or for reading data off CD-ROMs.
- If you don't want to have CD-ROM Drives on all your systems but you need a CD-ROM drive for installing software etc. In such cases, just connect the Drive to your system, load your CD and off you go.
- If you are a travelling support person and are not sure if the destination will have a CD-ROM drive.
It comes with drivers and a PCMCIA card and cable. Load the driver through the floppy drive, connect the drive to a power outlet and then connect the drive to your laptop through the PCMCIA card and you are in business.
It can draw power from your laptop through the PCMCIA card but if you need to conserve your batteries, you can connect the power adapter to a wall outlet. Power adapter is included.
Auto sensing power supply works with both 110 and 220 volts.
Supports Windows 3.xx, Windows 95/98/2000, Win NT and OS/2. Don't know about newer operating systems.
